Coldest Night of the Year
The Meridian Coldest Night of the Year is a fantastically fun, family-friendly 2, 5 or 10km walk that raises money for the hungry, homeless & hurting in 80+ communities across Canada. By joining the walk in Niagara Falls proceeds raised will support Project SHARE’s emergency services & provide participants the opportunity to experience a hint of the challenges faced by those experiencing homelessness in their own community.
We are looking for energetic & motivated community members to become a Coldest Night of the Year TEAM CAPTAIN & recruit their families, friends & co-workers to walk & raise funds with them!
Not interested in becoming a team captain?
- Join a pre-existing team or Project SHARE’s team
- Volunteer with us on walk day
- Become a sponsor
- 4:00pm – Registration opens
- 5:00pm – Opening Ceremonies
- 5:15pm – Walk begins! (all distances)
- 6:00pm – Registration closes
- 8:00pm – Route closes
*Between 6:00-8:00pm a light hot meal & beverages will be served to all walkers & volunteers. So be sure to stay & linger with us while you warm up & enjoy some live post walk music!
Registration: The cost to walk is $25 per person. The registration fee is waived if:
- Adults (18+) fundraise $150 or more
- Youth (13-17) fundraise $75 or more
- You are a child under 12 years old
All walkers receive a signature Coldest Night of the Year toque, welcome swag & a light hot meal & beverages
