Meridian Credit Union Coldest Night of the Year
What a day!
The Meridian Credit Union Coldest Night of the Year 2021 is behind us now and it was a year unlike any other. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the event was made into a contactless, safe walk which people were encouraged to walk "together-apart" in their own neighbourhoods.
It was truly heartwarming to see so many people coming out (in their own neighbourhoods) to support Project SHARE in our efforts to help those less fortunate in our community. Thank you to all those who walked, donated, and sponsored this year's event!
With your help we were able to exceed our fundraising goal of $30,000 for Project SHARE’s emergency support programs and raise over $51,000.
The Meridian Credit Union Coldest Night of the Year is a fantastically fun, family-friendly 2, 5 or 10km walk that raises money for the hungry, homeless & hurting in 80+ communities across Canada. By joining the walk in Niagara Falls you will support the 100 families who rely on Project SHARE’s emergency support services every day.
