Project SHARE update November 19, 202019 Nov 2020
We have been made aware of an offensive “Recipient understanding and declaration of information” statement which appeared on our online client registration form. This statement was posted in error and we apologize for this oversight. It has been removed and we are very appreciative that this has been brought to our attention. This statement does not reflect the values of the administration, staff, and volunteers.
Upon investigation it has been determined that this had been posted as information and was not intended to be a waiver. We have never required a waiver for our emergency support services.
Kind and generous people donate food to us. Under the guidance of our staff, dedicated volunteers sort through all food donated and we abide by Public Health Regulations to distribute safe, nutritious foods to help ensure none of our neighbours go hungry.
